Jeremy Pargo counts as three people by himself. So we have then:
    1) Heytvelt
    2) Downs
    3) Pargo
    4) Pargo
    5) Pargo

Actually, I think he is right on, potentially. In my mind, Pargo might be the question mark, just because he's short. But he's so damn bad-ass that he makes up for it. Downs and Heytvelt you know. Rob Sacre and Austin Daye are the new guys that I guess he's speculating about.

    LOL! The Pargo Trio!

The thing that's special with Pargo is that he is one of those fire-hydrant guards who can also fly, and that probably gives him an extra boost.

Heytvelt for sure, he already has NBA street cred with his "incident" :) If Downs continues to progress physically, mentally and "basketbally", then he is an NBAer.

I don't think I recall seeing the new guys play, so I can't really say. And I don't recall if I recall if I said that I recall seeing them play ;-)

    Got it. I mean...huh?

Pargo rules. If he were 35, I'd write him in for president.

Speaking of write-in campaigns, does he qualify for the Bob Cousy award or is he too tall? I saw the list but I dont remembber where at the moment.

I'd imagine that he would qualify, since Acie Law won it last year (he's 6-3 or so, right?)

Oh I got the awards mixed up. Bob Cousy is the top point guard regardless of height. It's a different award for the top player under 6 feet.

But this is scandalous! Jeremy Pargo is not in the long list of preseason candidates, yet Kyle "420" McAlarney and UConn's AJ Price are listed! This is on page 34 of the Athlon preview magazine.

The Cousy award website doesn't seem to be updated yet.

I am writing a dramatic post about this!
