Countdown to Midnight Madness on TV - Kentucky on Fox College Sports!

  • Thursday October 11, 1pm to 5pm+ pacific, Conference USA Media Days (aka Media Slam) on CSTV, first the women, then the men. The coverage will repeat a couple more times on CSTV.

    Friday Midnight Madness
  • 7pm eastern and throughout the night, ESPNU Midnight Madness. Coverage will repeat a few more times.
  • BOO at COMCAST and at ESPN for acting like total divas and not reaching an agreement to include ESPNU on their cable systems. BOO!!!!!!!
  • 9pm eastern, Kentucky Midnight Madness on FSN-Ohio. Update! Although not listed in the TV listings, Kentucky Midnight Madness is shown LIVE right now on Fox College Sports - Central with Kyle Macy and Rob Bromley. Update!
  • According to this story Bill Raftery and Lou Canellis will be the sideline team of the Georgetown coverage on the ESPN family of networks on Friday October 12, 2007.
  • Friday October 12, on FSN's Best Damned Sports Show Period, a round-table of college basketball coaches featuring Ben Howlin Wolf, Tim Sleepy Floyd, Rick I-coached-Durant Barnes, and Jeff I'm-more-just-a-Dookie Capel. It will air and re-air at various times depending on what games are playing on your local FSNs.


    Saturday
  • 5am on Saturday Oct 13, Greatest college basketball players on ESPN Classic.
  • There's also Saturday October 13, 2007 Midnight Madness, with George Mason, Indiana and North Carolina featured on the two hour ESPNU broadcast.
  • It looks like Midnight Madness is neither at Midnight nor on the same day :-)
  • At 4am pacific (Saturday to Sunday) October 14, on ESPN Classic the one hour Greatest NCAA Buzzer Beaters will re-air.

  • Sat Oct 20, at 10am, the Hank Gathers story on TV-One. The life of the LMU standout is chronicled in this movie.
  • Sat October 20, ESPN Classic will re-air at 1pm pacific the 1983 Houston vs NC State NCAA championship final.
  • And if you check out NBA-TV, rumor has it Marv Albert will host his next show wearing a hotel maid outfit ;-)

    Yes ESPNU is a trap! The colleges get tempted by the ESPN name, but they perhaps don't realize that ESPNU is not widely available.
