Thanks for checking in on the post. I think that it stuck in our craw (is that the proper way to say that?) because statements that predict the college basketball tournament seeding based on November scheduling are usually short-sided. I read your rebuttal and that makes sense. Believe me, no one knows about schedule cupcakery like Syracuse. The Wichita State game wasn't as big a killer as the Oklahoma State one though. That hurts cause immediately now everyone's perception of the Orange this season is based on that loss. Now its the ever-fun uphill battle through the Big East schedule in order to make a respectable seed. All depends on whether or not this team figures itself out as far as who they want to be and how they want to play. Less turnovers wouldn't hurt either.

Thanks for the reply! The Oklahoma State loss may not be that bad if the Cowboys turn out to be one of the top teams in the Big 12 and I am assuming Devendorf was under the weather during that game.

There was a recent bleep on how the selection cmte pays more attention that it was thought on how a team finishes, so that perhaps may a welcome second chance for a number of teams. A run during the conference tourney can extend the "last 10" streak...
