4pm: Oklahoma State vs Syrcause. This is probably a must-win for Syracuse as it was for Florida State hosting Florida. Syracuse plays a soft OOC schedule, so they have little room for error in the Big East, which may have a lower than expected RPI this season. The toughest OOC foes for Syracuse this year are at home: Wichita State, Charlotte, Baylor, Hofstra, Penn, UTEP and Drexel. Not bad teams, but they are all at home. Even this game is neutral-home since they are playing in the state of New York. Prediction: Syracuse.
Arizona vs Louisville. Prediction: Arizona unless Derrick Caracter comes ready to play and can play for more than 20 minutes, and he proves to be too much for the Arizona bigs who are a few sizes smaller than Caracter.
Rest of the games
6pm Texas A&M at LSU on ESPN Full Court. This game deserved to be on ESPN2 baby! Starts at 6pm. Check anyway since sometimes they allow some games on as a teaser or free promotion. Prediction: Big Baby eats A&M
7pm Gonzaga at Washington State, on regional FSNs and Fox College Sports. Prediction: Washington State squeaks as Bennett-TNG continues to impress.
4pm: Hofstra at Stony Brook on FoxCollegeSports. Your chance to see the mid-major that could. They beat George Mason twice last year, and they even suffered a low blow from Tony Skinn in their last encounter. Yet the NCAA selection committee gave the nod to George Mason.
730pm: Cal State Fullerton at UCLA: UCLA continues to eat cupcakes, this time playing the Harvard of SoCal ;-). Prediction: UCLA. Score: 49-31 ;-)
Other teams playing mid-majors on ESPN Full Court: Kentucky, South Carolina, and Northern Iowa vs Iowa.
