Today's (Thursday December 7, 2006) edition of Outside the Lines: First Report has Larry Bird's 50th birthday as the centerpiece. Affectionately known as the "hick from french link", he along with Magic had one of the most memorable NCAA college basketball games of all time in the 1979 Final Four.
