Jimmy Dykes put his foot in his mouth once again, this time making a sexually inappropriate comment: "value the basketball like your sister at a fraternity party". Women rights groups and feminists go after him! Is FireJimmyDykes.com up and running already? :-)

Grow Up! It was an analogy for christs sake, and a witty one at that. If you do not like Jimmy Dykes as a broadcaster, that is fine. But for God's sake, take your trivial and petty accusation and observation, and redirect it towards something more relevant and meaningful, such as border security
Jimmy Dykes is one of the "serious" and consistently solid basketball analysts in terms of basketball analysis, I am not questioning that.
However, he occasionally makes very inappropriate comments. This was one of them. It rolls back the clock to the pre-suffrage era.
It's comments like this that add to the stereotype of sports-fans and sportsmen as crude and pre-historic. And that doesn't help the stereotyping of Southern men either.
I fail to see how the use of an "analogy" makes it okay to say inappropriate things. One can say some nasty things using analogies, and metaphors, and parabols. That doesn't make it okay.
For someone who uses the word "God" and "Christ" twice in a paragraph you seem to have no problem with a sexually vulgar analogy :)
Also the argument that there are bigger problems in the world, so we should stop bothering with smaller problems is just silly. Should the courts let thieves get away with it because there are worse crimes than theft?
