Thank you Virginia Tech!

Thank you Virginia Tech for beating the smug-fest called Duke Basketball! The smug-cloud was so dense, the fire marshall ordered the doors of Cameron Indoor Stadium to be kept open at all times. With the doors open, and the smug-cloud evaporating, the Hokies were able to BEAT DUKE! this time around, after two very very very close games last year. Thank you Seth Greenberg! Thank you Virginia Tech players, students, fans and alumni! Go Hokies! Go Hokies! Go Hokies! Go Hokies! Go Hokies! Go Hokies! Go Hokies! Go Hokies! Go Hokies! Go Hokies! Go Hokies! Go Hokies! Go Hokies! Go Hokies! Go Hokies! Go Hokies! Go Hokies! Go Hokies! Go Hokies! Go Hokies!

Very good point! When a team plays Duke, especially at Cameron Indoor or the NCAA tourney, they can't just beat Duke on the court, they need another extra 5-10 points to make up for the 80-20 favorable calls Duke gets. A classic example is the 2004 Elite 8 game: If Thad Matta's Xavier was playing any other team, they would have been in the Final Four. But they were unfortunate to face Duke + the officials :-)
