Posts from the "BlogPoll Top 25" Blogs
  • A Sea of Blue looks at Kentucky's region of the Coaches vs Cancer mini-tourney, and the performance of Mark Coury. As you may recall from his Texas A&M days, Billy Gillispie was not shy about putting a player in the rotation if he did all the right things, even if he wasn't a top tier talent. You may recall his Texas A&M team had Chris Walker as a starter even though there were much better talents on the bench.
  • Troubles, not with tribbles, but with basketball players at San Diego State at March to Madness.
  • The SEC Hoops TGTBTD blog has a recap of the exhibition season of SEC teams. For real this time :)
  • So much new stuff at Rush the Court it makes you want to rush the court already! Catch up with all their conference previews so far, and get a recap of the latest Big 10 losses to Division II teams. Also, will the MAC have a glorious year and retake its place as the most feared mid-high mid-major, a position perhaps currently occupied by the Valley of Darkness (MVC) and the Colonial.
  • Rush the Court makes another strong case on the silliness between ESPN and Comcast which means Comcast subscribers don't get access to ESPNU. Rush the Court also asks the common sense question: Why don't they put ESPNU games in the ESPN Full Court package? As you may recal ESPN Full Court lost the Big 10 games to the Big Ten Network, so they could have used a boost. If nothing else, put the ESPNU games in the Full Court package in regions without ESPNU!
  • Check the latest college hoops games on TV at the crazy NCAA Hoops Today blog. (Ooops! it's this blog!)
  • Early Bracketology at March Madness All Season. And some pre-season awards.

And a recap of what we learned so far, along with a quick introduction to the new players at UK, including walk-on "reality" competition winner Dusty Mills. Will he become the next 5'6" player basketball fans cheer for?

  • Lots of "GoneZaga" updates at La Rev. "GoneZaga" is the March name for Gonzaga. Ouch :-)
  • Sympathy for the Devil as a pre-game intro song? I assume that's to remind the Dookies of their VCU experience? :)
