Jones and his Columbia Smarties got the Ohio State Buckeyes confused in the first half by mixing it up and taking and making early three point shots in the shot clock, something that was not expected or countered by Ohio State right away.
But the party was over in the second half as Ohio State managed to stumble through the game without any real danger of losing the game. But Columbia gave them enough headaches that should be a good learning experience for Thad Mata's young squad.
Koufos continued to show old man skills on offense. What is it with Ohio State and "old-men centers"? First it was 40 year old Greg Oden on defense, now it's 40 year old Koufos on offense. Imagine if both of them played together on the same roster!
