A rather interesting NBA draft it was, with Mike Tricco being the point guard, with Stephen A. Smith, Jay Bilas, and Marc Jackson on the wings. Off the bench came Andy Katz, Rick Buecher (sp?), Lisa Salters (sp?), and Paolo San Antonio. I am not sure if Jim Gray counts as a Lakers employee or an ESPN reporter :)
More on this later today... In the meantime, here is a bundle of NBA draft related links to stories.
And no, I'm not in-line for an Apple iPhone. No, I'm not writing this while waiting in line for the Apple iPhone! (like I would pay $600 for a frakking cell phone :)
And thanks for the link to Iktmmedia.com/UK, and No More Spin Sports blog.
On the coaching carousel front the Godfather has installed yet another one of his assistants at New Mexico State. First it was Reggie "TV coach" Theus, now it's MM (I can't spell his name off the top of my head). More on this later as well.
On the blogging front it was exciting that this blog made the Google Trends web-page yesterday for the TV schedule posts covering the NBA Draft.
All five classic Rocky films in one set are $19.99 for today only at Amazon, while supplies last. The Rocky Anthology: All 5 of the Classic Films, typically priced $35, today only they are selling for $20. (Free shipping if your total order is $25 or more).
