Weekend update II

  • My kingdom for a three point shooter! Especially with the three-point line going one foot back starting in 2008-2009, which is exactly when the Big 10's leading three point shooter will become eligible for Marshall. As you may recall Marshall has a multi-link connection with Billy the Kid (Donovan).
  • More from Goodman: He has an update on Anthony Grant at VCU after the Return of the Donovan at Florida.
  • Scheduling update on the 2007-2008 season: CBS wants to move the Louisville vs Kentucky game to January according to A Sea of Blue... This will be a coaching rematch of the Pitino vs Gillispie game of this March at Rupp Arena, where Gillispie's Texas A&M managed to beat Pitino's Louisville despite a 30+ game from Edgar Sosa who had a "Darius Washington" moment at the end of the game.
  • Sportsline.com has an update on Zabian Dowdell as he prepares for the NBA draft while at the same time trying to recover from the tragedy at Virginia Tech
  • Mike De Courcy dishes again, talking about 420 guard Kyle McAlarney returning to classes at Notre Dame, Boston College may have another sleeper forward (but hopefully for them without the issues), while Mr Jersey continues to make a splash recruiting-wise.
  • More from DeCourcy on his Sporting News blog, including stories on Barry Hinson and Missouri State (formerly bi-directional), the future pivotal player at Arizona, and of course more on Billy Donovan.
  • A team by team sneak peek at the 2007-2008 SEC conference is posted by CSTV U-Wire at Yahoo Sports
  • Dick Hoops Weiss blogs that Jeff Green continues to take his time when it comes to making an NBA Draft decision.
  • A Sea of Blue digs into the numbers of the 2006-2007 season, courtesy of KenPomeroy's site.
  • TV schedule of basketball games of recruiting interest at this Recruiting Wars tv schedule post.
