In a surprise announcement, the Ivy League has announced their college basketball player of the year, and they took everyone by surprise, by naming Jay Bilas as the conference player of the year.
As a former ACC and Dookie starter, Jay Bilas argued, he would be by definition the Ivy League Player of the Year. Because a lumbering ACC stiff would somehow transform into the next Tim Duncan if he played in the Ivy League :-)
This of course is a jab at Jay Bilas's very humble comment during the Notre Dame vs West Virginia game claiming that had he played in the Ivy League instead of the ACC, he would have been the player of the year.
